Dr. Mir is a seasoned medical professional with a distinguished background in pain medicine. Having completed his tenure as an Adult Pain Medicine Fellow at both Liverpool and Nepean Hospitals, within the prestigious Department of Pain Medicine, he subsequently pursued specialised training in Pediatric Chronic Pain management at Westmead Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Mir currently serves as a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) at esteemed healthcare institutions including Norwest Private Hospital, Nepean Private Hospital, Waratah Private Hospital and a Consultant Pain Specialist at Liverpool Public Hospital and Westmead Public Hospital. His comprehensive expertise encompasses a range of advanced pain management interventions:

Opioid Treatment Program: Dr.Mir has a comprehensive proficiency in administering opioid treatment programs, including Suboxone, Methadone, and Buprenorphine Injections, such as Sublocade and Buvidal.

Non-invasive Pain Procedures: Dr. Mir conducts non-invasive procedures like Nerve Blockades, Radiofrequency Neurotomy, Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy, and Spinal Cord Stimulation, effectively addressing various sources of chronic pain.
