Dr Baraa Kassim is a highly skilled rehabilitation and pain management specialist with a wealth of experience in treating patients with complex medical conditions. As the director of the Pain Management Program, she is committed to promoting a multi-disciplinary approach to chronic pain management, with a particular focus on functional restoration.

In addition to her role at PainMed, Dr Kassim is a member of the Rehabilitation Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand (RMSANZ). She works as a Rehabilitation Staff Specialist at Nepean Hospital NSW, where she has experience in management of patients with strokes, complex neurological, orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and geriatric conditions. She has experience in Spasticity management, and trained in Spinal and Brain injury rehabilitation. Her expertise in these areas has allowed her to develop highly effective treatment plans that are tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
